Ventilation and product quality

Some product categories  such as perishables, pharmaceuticals, electronics,  chemicals and others may be susceptible to variations in temperature and humidity. This can affect quality, shelf live or even lead to hazardous build up of undesirable gases.

Inserting ventilation spacers between the stacked layers is a simple way to facilitiate air-flow and thereby avoiding such inappropriateness

Air flow is key

Without ventilation layers between stacked layers only the outward facing sides are exposed to ventilation.

When inserting spacers between your stacked layers, two additional contact surfaces are created.his allows air, gasses, and humidity to be conducted away more effectively through the open profiles of the spacers cavities.

As with most products, also spacers are found in a variety of designs. Minimal air resistance and support of your box layers are some of the crucial factors.

Our spacers are designed to optimize ventilation between your stacked layers. Have a look at our product selection and find the spacer suitable for your setup.

Max. Airflow

The unique, 50 mm high and supportive design of the VentiTeq spacers provides minimal air resistance and facilitates as such maximum airflow between your stacked layers

Quality and profitability

Besides maintaining the quality of your products the rigid design and high-quality HDPE material of the spacers ensure a long life span and makes them suitable also for automized handling.

Stable Pallet-Stacks

The large and evenly distributed support area of the spacers ensure that your layers do not collapse and thus are damaged and block the airflow.

As with most products, there are also big differences in spacer designs.
Minimal air resistance and support of your box layers are two crucial factors.

VentiTeq spacers allow higher air flow and therefore facilitate a noticable more efficient ventilation between your delicate and valuable products.

Controling temperature, humidity and gasses

Here ventilation plays a key role in managing humidity and temperature levels. By preventing excessive moisture, it helps reduce the risk of mold and other contaminants that thrive in damp environments.

Proper airflow also helps maintaining an even temperature throughout the stack, preventing hot spots. Hot spots can lead to contamination or uneven growth, both of which can compromise the quality of the product.
