Faster and uniform tempering with spacers

Many production processes in industries such as food and pharmaceuticals involve controlled, uniform cooling/tempering of the products.

During tempering the packaged product will even out its temperature with the surrounding air through the surfaces of the packaging

The more effectively the surrounding air contacts the product and is equalized, the faster the tempering.

For stacked layers  the surfaces exposed to the surrounding air is reduced from six to one or, at best, two surfaces – a reduction of up to 80%.

As a result the tempering process becomes more uneven throughout the pallet stack and consequently also takes longer time.

Efficient Tempering with Ventilation Spacers
As with most products, also spacers are found in a variety of designs. Minimal air resistance and support of your box layers are some of the crucial factors.

Max. Airflow

The unique, 50 mm high and supportive design of the VentiTeq spacers provides minimal air resistance and facilitates as such maximum airflow between your stacked layers

Uniform tempering process

Our spacers not only reduces the time to temper your products, but also enables a more uniform process throughout the pallet stack which has a positive impact on product quality

Stable Pallet-Stacks

The large and evenly distributed support area of the spacers also ensures that your boxes do not collapse and thus are damaged and block the airflow.

Overall, spacers play an important role when you want to ensure a uniform and faster tempering process

Spacers help to prevent product damage, ventilate your products and maintain a consistent temperature, all of which contribute to the overall quality and safety of your products.

Streamlining your tempering process with VentiTeq spacers

By inserting ventilation spacers between your stacked layers two additional contact surfaces are opened up. (as illustrated on the right)

The open profiles of the spacers cavities allow a faster equalization between the temperature in the stacked layers and the temperature of the surrounding air.

Combined this facilitates a faster, yet more gentle and even tempering of your products.
